At 92 years old, Alpha Chi is the oldest sorority on Georgetown College's campus. Originally known as the Peacock Club, the Alpha Chi chapter was chartered in November of 1929. Our rich history is something that we are immensely proud of.
In our 92 years, we have been successful on campus as well as nationally. We have won the President's Cup for best over all sorority, and first place in Songfest, our on campus singing/dancing competition! Our chapter has also earned many scholarship awards, as well as being named a national 3-Star chapter! Our rich history has also been heavily influenced by a passion for service. We continue to volunteer with Windsor Gardens Assisted Living Center and with the Lexington chapter of the National Alzheimer's Association. Most importantly, our heritage has been built upon an unwavering sisterhood, which continues to enrich the lives of the chapter's active members and alumnae.
